New NetAcad Instructor Training Plan 2026–2027
BiASC (Belgium) and Fast Lane (Netherlands) are launching a new NetAcad Instructor Training Plan for 2026–2027, covering key learning pathways in Networking, Cybersecurity, Automation, Industrial IoT, AI and Cloud.

Instructor training is essential for instructors who need official accreditation to teach courses such as CCNA, CCNP, Cybersecurity and CCNA Automation (formerly DevNet Associate).
The programme combines guided training with practical experience and prepares instructors to confidently use the Cisco Networking Academy curriculum in their own classes.
The CCNA 1 instructor training is particularly recommended for new teachers who want to start teaching CCST Networking. It provides a solid foundation in networking concepts, Cisco technologies and Packet Tracer, while also creating a natural pathway towards the full CCNA curriculum.
Most instructor training courses are online and run over eight weeks, with one session per week on a fixed evening. We intend to start the main training cycles twice during the academic year, in November and in March, making it easier for instructors to join at a suitable time. For other training activities, the programme will clearly indicate whether they are organised online or in person.
Instructor Training is free of charge for SLBdiensten/Fast Lane & BiASC ASC members.
The training language will be adapted to the group of participants.

Benelux Instructor Training: What You Need to Know
What to expect
- This program focuses on teaching methodologies and does not replace student training focused on specific course content. The course equips you with the skills to obtain instructor accreditation for relevant courses.
- While all sessions will be recorded, active participation in at least 70% of the online sessions is essential.
- This instructor training emphasizes self-directed learning, experimentation, and independent study. If you prefer in-depth content coaching, consider enrolling in a NetAcad student course offered at a local Cisco Academy.
Organizers & Payment
- This instructor training is offered by the Belgian Instructor Training Center (BiASC) and the Dutch ITC with FAST LANE/ SLB Diensten.
- Participation fees are already covered for most instructors at Cisco Academies in Belgium and the Netherlands, thanks to existing agreements with their ASC-ITCs. If you teach at a member Academy in either Belgium or the Netherlands, participation is free.
- The Training is exclusively for participating Academy for BiASC or SLBdiensten/Fast Lane ASC. If you are currently not a member please contact us to discuss individual training needs and member benefits

- You may enroll in only one accreditation-level course per semester. Additional non-accreditation trainings can be chosen if the schedule allows.
